MeetingNudge

Privacy
Policy

MeetingNudge is a macOS productivity app for meeting reminders. Your privacy is dead simple: we collect absolutely nothing. Here's the full breakdown.

shield

The Short Version

MeetingNudge collects zero data. No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry, no accounts, no servers. Everything stays on your Mac, full stop.

calendar_month

Calendar Data

MeetingNudge requests read-only access to your calendars via macOS EventKit to display your upcoming meetings. Calendar data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. We don't store copies of your events — we read them in real time from the system calendar framework.

notifications

Notifications

Meeting reminders are delivered as local notifications through macOS. There are no push notification servers involved — notifications are scheduled and triggered entirely on your Mac.

block

No Analytics

There is no tracking, no analytics, and no telemetry of any kind. No usage data, no crash reports, no behavioural tracking. Zero data collection. We don't know how you use the app, and that's exactly how it should be.

lan

No Third-Party Services

MeetingNudge connects only to your configured calendar accounts (via macOS EventKit) and conference URLs — Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Webex — when you actively click to join a meeting. There are no SDKs, no ad networks, and no third-party services embedded in the app.

settings

UserDefaults

Your preferences (reminder times, overlay settings, sound choices) are stored locally on your Mac via UserDefaults. This data is never synced, uploaded, or shared with anyone.

person_off

No Account Required

There is no sign-up, no login, and no server communication. MeetingNudge works entirely offline from the moment you install it. No account means no personal information to protect — because we never ask for it in the first place.

hard_drive

Data Storage

All data remains on your Mac. Calendar events are read from the system, preferences are stored in UserDefaults, and notification sounds live in your local Library folder. Nothing leaves your device.
