How do I grant calendar access?
MeetingNudge will ask for calendar permission on first launch. If you need to grant or change access later, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars and make sure MeetingNudge is toggled on with Full Access.

Why aren't notifications showing?
Head to System Settings > Notifications > MeetingNudge and check that notifications are allowed. Make sure "Allow Notifications" is turned on and your preferred alert style (banners or alerts) is selected. Also check that Do Not Disturb / Focus mode isn't blocking them.

Open MeetingNudge and go to Settings > Reminders tab. You can select multiple reminder times — for example, get a nudge at 10 minutes, 5 minutes, and 1 minute before your meeting starts.

When a meeting is about to start, MeetingNudge can display a full-screen overlay across all your displays showing the meeting details and a one-click join button. You can dismiss the overlay, snooze it, or join the meeting directly. It's designed to be impossible to miss.

Can I disable the overlay?
Yes. Go to Settings > Overlay tab and toggle the overlay off. You'll still receive standard macOS notifications — the overlay is just an extra layer for those who want something harder to miss.

MeetingNudge is 100% local. It reads your calendar data to show meetings and that's it — no data is ever transmitted, collected, or stored externally. No analytics, no accounts, no servers. Read the full Privacy Policy for details.

Click the MeetingNudge icon in your menu bar to open the popover, then click Quit. You can also use Cmd+Q while the popover is open.

Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars and make sure MeetingNudge has Full Access enabled. If you only see "Ask Next Time" or it's toggled off, the app won't be able to read your calendar data. You may need to restart MeetingNudge after changing the permission.

How do I reset to defaults?
Open MeetingNudge and go to Settings > About > Re-run Setup. This will reset your preferences and take you through the onboarding flow again as if it were a fresh install.
